For St Patrick's Day
For St Patrick's Day
For the benefit of anyone who meets me on St. Patrick's day I would like to post this message on the World-Wide Web.
I am not Irish and I am not wearing this kilt for St. Patrick's day - I wear it all year round. It may be green but closer inspection will reveal that it is camouflage. I may wear it with a blue top - firstly because I have no sense of colour matching and secondly to confuse assumptions that I am wearing it for that occasion.
Right, since everyone on Earth has now read this, I hope I can get some peace this weekend.

Sounds like a very interesting book.merlin wrote:To celebrate Mr Patrick's day, I'm going downtown, drink a pint (or two!) of Murphy's, go home, put on a green (pleated) skirt & green sweatshirt & read "A Regional History of Railways - Ireland".. I'm not Irish, either, but my old friend & colleague, Mr Patrick, is!
As for patty's day, I'm actually not working for once, so I might just go out and celebrate. Any excuse to get drunk!
