Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
Hey Gang, I received my kilts from Sport Kilt Friday.I got the U.S.Army and the Boulder in gun metal gray.I think they look very nice.I got the U.S.Army in the works. It cost more but for what I wanted it is worth it,I guess. The only problem is Miss.Vicky has confinscated:shake: naughty: them, they are my Christmas.Oh well such is life. But hey at least I now have two more skirts.
At any rate I just wanted to let you know.
I got a sport kilt about a month ago, the Douglas tartan, just because I liked the colors, and it looks good. It's lighter than my other kilts, so it feels great.
Got two with "the works" minus the buckles, and that's all I'll get them in from now on. Fringe, sewn pleats and belt loops are just too cool. Wore my Gordon with matching flashes, sash, pin, skean dhu and green piper hose to the games, and was told by a transplanted Scottish lady that I was "dressed to the nines"...You should get to wear the gun metal Boulder for Thanksgiving at the least. I got one from eBay, and have yet to get it hemmed. For Christmas, yeah...
