"Under Construction: The site you were trying to reach does not currently have a default page. It may be in the process of being upgraded and configured"

when I attempt to go to imff.net

I get the same. Seeing as there's an informative message, I'd guess that Nigel is up to something.

I've had the same message since 0700 GMT when I tried to check-in. Skirtcafe was also timing out at the same time but I saw it was back up in the afternoon.

The WHOIS entry for imff.net still has Nigel as the contact so nothing there has changed. I wonder if he's installing the new version of PHP he was talking about earlier in the year.

He might also be switching over to vBulletin, which seems to be the norm lately. X Marks used to be run on phpBB, but Hank switched it over to vBulletin.
