Urban Fashion Awards UK - Vote for Men in Skirts

Post by lance »

If you want to help gain greater publicity for male skirt wearing please use your vote at http://www.uufa.co.uk/ for midasclothing.com.
We are entered in the awards for 'Best Streetwear Line' and 'Best Men's Line'
Even if you don't like our collection, we are the only entry showing men's skirts so show your support for the cause!!!
It appears that you can vote every day, which I agree is a bit of a tall order for those of us with busy lives, but please try whenever you can, see if we can get to the Awards Ceremony. WE NEED YOU!!!!
Thanks in anticipation of your support, :cheer:

Thanks to you guys for your support and to Lar for his sense of humour!!!
At odds with my original information it seems that you can only vote once on the same computer. The next time you enter the voting site it shows you the votes cast but doesn't allow you to vote again. So if you can ask all your friends/colleagues to vote for us as well or use different computers/sites it will all help. Dear me, and we cite our politicians as being gerrymandering!!!??? Well, all in a good cause!! We're currently second in both categories:cheer:
Keep up the good work, thanks once again.

I took a look at the site in question this morning, and can quite honestly state that the Midas collection was the best-looking of the lot -- so a vote for Midas was in the bag. The rest were just, well, boring.

That's a very common tactic for at least attempting to keep the voting honest; that way you don't get one, or several, wiseguys writing programs to repeatedly hit the "vote" button on their machines. This won't stop fraud, however, as a single bot-net could easily overwhelm even the most carefully designed poll.

Dear me, and we cite our politicians as being gerrymandering!!!???
Now there's a good word! And it's named for a real scoundrel in Massachusetts politics, too! It's always nice to see the local boys "make good".

Good luck in that poll, Lance (and Midas)!

This is true. However, if you clear the cookies for uufa.com from your browser then you can vote again.

I leave that one to your conscience

all I get is the word "loading", white on black, about 34 point, changing from lower to upper case. for about 15 minutes. aren't these programmers clever?

cookies

I've deleted my cookies and re-voted 22 times today. Nice to be retired and not too busy. Off to delete my cookies again before I go to bed. Then when I get over this way tomorrow I won't have to delete cookies until AFTER I vote my first time today when I awaken in about 7 hours. I had about 1 free hour today while playing online poker and kept opening my cookie box and deleting one cookie, going to the site, voting, back to the cookie box, site, voting, call, raise or fold, cookies, site, vote, cookie box etc etc etc ad infinitum ad nauseum... :):cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :ninjajig:
I had to remove this signature as it was being used on Twitter. This is my OPINION, you NEEDN'T AGREE.

There's one more week of voting left, 9th October to be precise! Midas have a handsome lead in the Streetwear category, but are just a nose behind the frontrunner in the Menswear category. So, if you haven't voted yet :wink2: get your fingers out and vote for fashion freedom, at http://www.uufa.net/mensline.htm !
