Yesterday I was at the bike shop and spotted that the mechanic was wearing a black utilikilt. I, too, was in my kilt most of the day yesterday. I was pretty stoked about this....

Excellent - maybe we're winning. Funnily enough, I often pass a crowded biker pub in my kilt; I feel quite conservative beside all the 60-year-olds with Hogs and studded leather jackets.

Wrong bike type :) .... well I have both, but this was a bicycle shop :)

I wore that stuff when I was 25, 39 years ago. After an almost fatal accident with an 18 wheeler when I was 27, I sold my BMW bike, sold my studded leather jacket at a yard sale and took on a new look. :shifty: :shake: :clap:

I am not surprised that bike mechanic wear an UK. I wear one too, although I don't work for a shop.:)

It's funny, but one of the few times I've seen a guy in a kilt, outside of Scottish-themed special events, was at a Wal Mart in Nebraska (and it wasn't Lincoln).
