Another successful adventure
Another successful adventure
Hello all
This is my second post -
I've attached some photos of my second 'holiday' skirted. It was brilliant to get the ferry across to the beach and enjoy the breeze and skirt blowing round by legs - such a simple pleasure but what freedom.
I even managed to get the courage to go shopping in Tescos and the town centre in tiered skirt, strappy wedge shoes and a tank top. I got lots of looks but no sneers or adverse remarks, well not to my face anyway. Loads of smiles from the girls though:cheer:
Highlight of the holiday was a group of twentysomething girls - all gorgeous - beeped me as they drove past me in their car waving, smiling, shrieking even and one of whom gave me the thumbs up. Wicked!
My next adventure is to go to one of the large bars in the town. I think arrive before most and find a spot so I can gradually gauge how it'll be as it gets busier. The management at the bar reckon I'll be fine. Still cautious though.
Anyway, just thought I'd like to share that. Anybody got ant recent holiday outings skirted to share?
(I've pixeled out my face in the photo's until I feel relaxed enough)

Snorky
I think you're having the same "non-existent" problem we all had when we started going public. That particular problem is about 101% in only "our" minds. The first time I went public in a skirt, nearly 2 years ago, it was late at night, ducking furtively from ashcan to parked car in the darkness praying no one I knew would see my (in my mind) perverted self wearing a (in my mind) article of "women's clothing" finally ending up at a brand new just built 7-11 convenience store. I lurked outside for at least an hour trying to build up the confidence to actually go inside for a 6-pack of Pepsi Cola. At 10 minutes to 11pm I saw that all the customers had left, the sales clerk (a woman) was cleaning the floor in the back and I sidled in the door and whisked to the cooler, grabbed a 6 pack and whooshed to the counter away from the clerk putting more than enough money on the rubber pad by the cash register and said, "the money's by the register, BYE!!" The clerk, shouted back from the rear of the store, "Okies, by the way, Nice skirt, Skip!" I was frozen in place, babbling something like "um, oh, err, duh," and turned around to leave and walked right into 2 commercial fishermen that I'd known nearly all my life. The biggest one, about 6'6" and 300 pounds of solid muscle, took one look and said something that nearly made me jump a foot. He said, "Hmm, a Man's skirt, I've heard of those, I have a kilt I wear a lot of the time at home, I'd be afraid to wear it in public tho"..Good Job Skip!
I was dumbfounded, I said, for no apparent reason, "I'm not a Transvestite" He responded with, "I know that, if you were, you'd be the ugliest one on record" The Other fisherman, who'd been quietly watching all this, finally said something. He said, "I go to Highland Festivals in North Carolina where I'm from and toss the caber and all the athletes there "MUST" wear a kilt while competing. I've never seen anyone complain, A kilt or even a loose skirt is far more comfortable in hot sticky weather than any kind of pants(US for the UK trousers) are." The first one, the big one, was named Igor, the second one was named Steve. Neither of them had anything negative to say, the clerk Susan piped in with "My brother wears kilts and robes around the house, I'm going to tell him about you and maybe we can pry him out of the house kilted too.
The rest is history as they say. I only own 2 pairs of bifurcated clothing now. A pair of khaki cut-offs and a pair of nylon swim trunks. I go everywhere skirted, I even went to Las Vegas July 10th to play in the World Series of Poker, roamed all over the vicinity of the Rio Hotel and Casino and had about 25 comments on the skirts I wore. ALL WERE POSITIVE.
So anyway Snorky, TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT!!!
