Also, are you still a police officer?

Lar - yes - but only for the next 20 months. Then I retire on pension and take up a job as a college lecturer in English.
Was/is your friend you were talking about a police officer?
No, he was in the catering trade and later became the manager of a pub. I have, however, met several colleagues while skirted. No problem.

Bikini swim trunks are called Speedos (probably after the brand) and personally I find them pretty awful to look at. To be honest, most men on the beach wear board shorts (boardies) and they also look ridiculous in them. They also tend to cut at the most vulnerable place (think camel toe). The best option in my view is the Speedos underneath trunks but cut the mesh out from the trunks.

Clothes have no gender. Except when the people in marketing give them one.

I think that a two-piece thong bikini would be an exception...:shake: I like my speedos, but they're short-type trunks, and the inside-mesh works fine. Wearing two pair of swimming attire to look "good" is overboard. Better nothing worn...Who cares if you're comfy?

WOW, i must have gone through some sort of time-warp or something! :crazyeyes

from colourd socks to bikinis?

I recently ordered a set of ankle socks from Lane Bryant.
They come in solids or white with colored stripes at the ankle.

I got the solids. Two of the colors match my scrubs just fine.
The other pair (3 pair to the package) are pink.
Since I don't own any pink scrubs, I wore them the other day with a purple top, green pants and blue shoes, along with my white lab coat.
Guess if I'm going to make a fashion statement, I'll go all out :cheer:

These things are in a women's size 12 which barely stretch over my men's size 13-14 EE feet. :)

Glad I'm not the only man to wear coloured/colored socks!

In all honesty, the best (most comfortable and practical) swim costume is the one I was born in and it completely avoids any camel toe problems :) :) :), however protocol prevents me chosing that option at most beaches.

If I'm worried about how others see me, the best look is probably a long coat and go hide in the corner until the sun goes down, beautiful I aint.

Have fun,

Ian.
