Wide, Wide World Of The Politically Correct

Post by MAPLEDUDE »

HEY, check out what this narrow-minded knuckle head has to say about what MEN should wear:

http://lifestyle.msn.com/men/articlees. ... tid=507616

The article has a comments link to reflect your opinion. I, of course, conveyed to the author exactly how narrow-minded, politically correct, puritanical, homophobic, conforming, discriminating and unconstitutional this article is. I proceded to inform, whoever, the last time I checked the United States is still a democracy and not ruled by the Talaban. So, with that little detail clarified that it is perfectly within ALL mens' right to wear anything they (we) damn well please. Yeah, and that includes short shorts, skimpy swim suits, short spandex tights, skirts, kilts and the lot. It's none of your (the author) business, and if you don't like it, that is too damn bad. Perhaps some day the author might get it!

There is also another article in there entitled "What Women Want Men to Wear", what a joke that is. Just another narrow-minded, herd-following, politicaly correct view.

If I follow those rules, I would not be posting here right now!!!! Those rules are just plain wrong and discriminatory.

From what I can see, these are not so much rules as fashion tips and, as such, we can ignore them. Some people slavishly (and foolishly, IMO) obey the edicts of these style aficionados instead of treating them with the contempt they deserve. If I want to wear socks with sandals, or stripes with checks, or a pink tutu with diving flippers, I will do.

To paraphrase Karl Marx, "Skirters of the world unite. You have nothing to lose but your Chinos".

Personally I exercise in a kilt or home made polyester wrap skirt. It is far more comfortable, cooler and the sweat evaporates rather than keeps my underwear wet.
