My total posts from The Cafe say 282 but it only says 54 here - how come? This is only the second post at this new site. Where did the 54 come from?

My guess is that it's an artefact of the way that the backing database was brought over from Noodles' server to Bob's. The post count looks like it's dynamically generated each time it's queried, which is why very old posts of yours have the same "post count" as very new ones (a very confusing behaviour, if you want my opinion). My supposition is that the entire "archive" didn't get passed to the new server and hence the 'select count(*) from foo where poster='bar';' query will return a "low" value.Mary Jane Boy wrote:My total posts from The Cafe say 282 but it only says 54 here - how come?
