Study recommends changing your underwear every six months

Post by mr seamstress »

I came across this article about changing knickers every 6 months. In the 1st paragraph doesn't get you    nothing else will.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/medica ... 88b7&ei=76
The true study is after 6 months of washing and wearing one should discard their knickers and get new ones, because regular laundry doesn't sanitize them enough. Maybe we all should all also buy new wardrobe every 6 months since these knickers also contaminates everything else in the wash. Study says adult underwear contains an average of 0.1 grams of uh… butt stuff. According to the article deals with washing only, and not including drying in the dryer. By the way some clothes dryer has a UV light that helps in sanitizing clothes while drying.
If you ask AI how to get clothes most sanitize at home it says to sanitize the laundry basket before reusing it before putting wet laundry in it. Also need to use gloves or wash hands before handling wet clothes.
Maybe someday someone will come up with the ideal of front loading machine with 2 doors. First door in front of glass door would be used when close to shine UV light into wash in helping in sanitizing clothes better beside from chemicals in laundry detergents when close. If only someone comes up with that ideal and invent front loader that can sanitize clothes better than current models without UV light.
Anyway any bacteria left on clothes suppose to become ineffective after 2 or 3 days. Is there any real build up over time? I question the article?
?If you go to laundromats everyone puts wet clothes in same basket and move them to dryers, without sanitizing baskets or their hands. What is your procedure in doing laundry?

Sunlight sanitizes. Hang outside to dry.

One question has to be ask; How dirty were the knickers before they was wash?

Good reading. Numbers of articles on this subject is astounding.

Like I said I question the study why need to purchase new knickers unless your male masculinity prevent butt cleaning and making knickers heavy soil.
