Wool Skirts Art Exhibit

Post by Coder »

Well, today is the last day, apparently:

This might have been an interesting event to attend! I just heard about it last night.

Also, a "shop" link for some egregiously overpriced wool skirts, I suspect the main purpose of the exhibition LOL. I think if they had gone "thrift" value they'd only get between $30-150 / skirt.

There are some nice skirts, but it seems a shame to break up the collection put together over three generations.
Daily, a happy man in a skirt...

That bugged me a bit as well - I guess my only thoughts were that the current owners have no conceivable way to store, preserve the collection, and may not even be that fond of most of the styles.

Like the concept, a lot of those have cuts that would work on a male body, assuming the waist fits, but the prices are crazy. Thanks for sharing.

This is one of the first skirts pictured when I visited the site.

Back in my college days :shaking: I had a sports coat made from the same material.
(Long gone now :( )

Kind of holiday esque, when worn near Christmas ;)
