Paris Fashion week
Not the "same same same" as I have been seeing.
Paris fashion week this year has a good mix of traditional male styles with some skirted looks mixed in. I like some of the skirted outfits, if a tiny bit bland.

Yes, a little underwhelming, but good to see some skirts on show.

Re: Paris Fashion week
Its nice to see a little bit of colour in the jumpers, at least they're not Black, Dark Blue or Grey.
As for the skirts with those two outfits they maybe quite ordinary in colour but there is a touch of realism which has more chance than being too "out there" in terms of anyone buying them. We must remember the aim with their skirts is to persuade non skirting men to dip their toe in and try it which means not drawing too much attention with them as newbies won't be used to the eyes watching them.

"A touch of realism" is a a good summation YS. I like the blocky colourful jumper with black pleated skirt and boots. I would wear that. There needs to be more "I would wear that outfits" out there.yardstick wrote: ↑Thu Jan 29, 2026 10:10 pm Its nice to see a little bit of colour in the jumpers, at least they're not Black, Dark Blue or Grey.

I assume thats the outfit. I could put together a similar look to that out of my closet.
I think I would wear tights instead of socks, but thats just me fashion sense.

But the sweater does not fit the person eg the sleeves.

Re: Paris Fashion week
If I examine my own motives, I'm a fan of jumpers and skirts. I've always been a fan of thick jumpers right back to my teens when I was just as envious of the girls skirts.
I wore a jumper and skirt combo to London when I looked for a meetup venue.

Although it was pretty drab and not catwalk worthy. I've just bought a cardigan which I'm hoping to pair with something nice.

I like jumpers/sweaters/cardigans too. They pair well with most skirts and dresses. I do wish I had a few cropped ones though that ends waist high, I like that combo with skirts/dresses.
I could see myself in this outfit though like PH I would also have gone either with tights or leggings and colourful socks(patterned knit ones maybe to match the sweater).

With the colors in that sweater(jumper) any solid color skirt, one of those colors,Barleymower wrote:I've just bought a cardigan which I'm hoping to pair with something nice.
would work extremely well. Maybe a white or yellow shirt with a black or brown skirt.
They would compliment each other quite well
