I to like the same length skirt, my favourite are faux leather or satin slip skirt. Do you wear skirts all the time or at selected time and do you go out in them, I wear a skirt as much as possible and love going out in one.

I like the look of knee length or longer. Maxi are my favourite length of skirts, just love the flow of them.

For me, top of knee and shorter, 5-10 cm (2-4") above my knees.

Kilts at 23" to 25" drop, the longer ones for winter, the same as my skirts  bought a maxi denim skirt, which is great for colder days but most of my skirts are mostly knee length, I have a gorgeous Boden one that's over my knees when I sit. Shorter ones for summer, 19" is the shortest I'd go

Too difficult, I don't have a favourite. My post in the "How short is too short?" thread fits here quite nicely:

I prefer that my skirts and dresses fall anywhere from just above the knee or longer.
The problem is you buy off the shelf and get what you get, then couple that with the fact I'm tall 6'3"(190cm) and dresses are made for the average woman who is 5'6" (165 cm) They tend to be short on me.
I have 2 dresses from Old Navy that fall 3" below my knee that I really like, I recently bought on just like them from Torrid and its much shorter about 3" abbe the knee. With the shot dress you needs a little more care than the longer ones.

With the colder weather I decided to pull out a few longer skirts that I have not really worn yet. They're soft and flowy and cover my knee when I'm sitting which is a new feeling for me. I'm typically an above-the-knee person. Between the length and the flowy-ness it was a big step out of "the box" for me and it took some time for my comfort level to set in, and also I was apprehensive about the wife approval factor. So far it's been good though: I'm feeling comfortable wearing them and there hasn't been any objections from the Mrs. 8)

My next step is some even longer skirts from Svaha in fun/geeky prints. That will be a big jump out of "the box" for me, but dammit I'm starting to want to break out of the boring colors / "kilt waiver" routine and express myself a little more.

IMHO Men are allowed to have colourful skirts of any length you like.

I find it odd that in the man box there are four things that you are allowed to have in fun colours, ties, socks, Hawaiian shirts and Football shirts. Some fellows add a colourful waist coat or a kilt if they are pushing at the box walls.

While I have skirts in all the lengths I tend towards One the knee to Midi.

Your post made me flash back to the days when I started adding longer skirts to my public collection. Though I had worn long skirts at home for cool evening comfort, mostly I wore knee and above skirts for daily public use. Anytime we step outside the bounds of the familiar, a bit of anxiety seems natural-- also 'uncomfortable'. What I found was I fairly quickly went from being a knee and above guy, to often a tea or maxi (per chart above) guy -- because they are so much more versatile and there are no Marilyn moments nor concerns about posture or movements, along with being greatly adaptable for the whether.

Here is a pic of what I'm wearing at the moment: https://photos.app.goo.gl/DbSXBEUYn56h2J1RA having just returned from a casual fundraiser where I expected some strong cool breezes in the less sheltered areas. Though I do have long skirts that are solid colors, they tend to be more formal/elegant/church/office wear kind of things, whereas as you say, many long skirts are flowing and more colorful -- fun, easily selected for most whether conditions, and fitting for most any occasion or setting. {The one shown is not solid, but still from the drab side.} Take what you've got and Go for it -- you too may become a longer skirt guy! :)

Today I trued something different.
Its 4°C/40°F here in Dallas, I wore black fleece lined leggings with a mini skirt and a sweater. Stayed toasty warm all day while running errands to finish getting ready for the cold weather coming in this weekend.

Conversely, I am looking forward to a cool change next Friday and am seeking out my shortest, lightest minis.
A 10" khaki, pleated mini has been my garment of choice about 80% of the time for the last two months; working, shopping and cycling. Nobody comments. As I have said before "My hemline goes up as the temperature goes up".

This one to me shows the lengths differently than the previous image.

According to the "image 2" picture, the one with real models in it, has 3 models missing.

Although to be fair, having "tea" between "midi" and "maxi", I feel is pushing it a bit, so maybe just two models missing?
