Hello all
Re: Hello all
Hi Myopic Bookworm,
Thanks for the message. I have found some silky soft men’s trunks that I first found in M and S. I was looking for micro fibre women’s knickers after trying on my wife’s which felt really comfortable. after finding a pack of women’s knickers I really wanted to wear I bottled it. Thinking how can I wash them with my wife at home, So went to the mens sections I need something. Too my surprise M and S also do micro fibre mens trunks. They were nearly £40. So I went on line when I got home and found Temu sell them. I am now the proud owner of over 12 pairs of silky soft mens trunks which my wife can’t object to as they are for men. You don’t know you’re wearing them and they don’t cut into the groin. I have always worn slips as they call them. Men’s skimpy pants. These are so much better. The silky soft ones are very cheap on Temu as well.
I wore them on a beach in France. I left the naturist section and donned a sky blue pair. I walked the length of the beach and back just in these trunks, as if wearing speedos’ It was great. I had a few looks though.
I had seen a guy wearing a net pouch which gave me confidence to know what might be acceptable behaviour. He walked from his car to the naturist beach about 400 meters in just a net pouch. Then took it off to walk the length of the beach naked.
I cant wait to go back that beach. Maybe one day.

Re: Hello all
I don’t know where to post this so I’ll post it here if that’s okay.
Today is a good day. I finally found my walking skirt in a charity shop. It’s BHS long ago stopped trading but did nice satin nighties etc. it was £4 and if mid thigh length. Lovely and light cotton material. I’ll take some photos when I get the chance. I also found a Primark soft silky pleated skirt. Again photos soon, I now just need to pluck up the courage to wear them. Possibly drive to Dartmoor one day to try out the walking skirt with a pair of black tights.
The pleated skirt can hide a slip so maybe a museum or art gallery visit.

Re: Hello all
Welcome and pleased that I and others have given you inspiration. I am The Skirted Man. The aim of my site is to encourage and let others know that men do have freedom of choice, expression and individuality. It is not a female only privilege. Society is full of hypocrites and bigots in many aspects of life. Change does give many cause for concern, unless it suits them that is.
Sorry to hear that your other half and family are not accepting. Quite a few men on this forum have disapproving families and quite a few, like myself, do not stop us embracing our freedom whenever we want. From my experience, friends and family, and quite often from the public, say to me they embrace my choice because I do so as a man expressing his individuality, do not flaunt my outfits, but wear them with confidence with thought to style, colour coordination and blend in. I behave and talk as a man who just wants to express his individuality, just as women do who embrace the male wardrobe as their freedom of choice. There will always be does who disapprove in all aspects of society. Provided no harm is done to others, freedom of choice, expression and individuality should and does apply to all. Ignoring comments from society is one thing, family and friends is another.
