Baseball / Van Cleef & Arpels
Anybody else notice that a number of players in the World Series were wearing earrings in both ears? I never understood this convention that it was ok for guys to wear an earring in one ear but not two (and which ear you selected could be linked to sexual orientation).
Of particular note, Miguel Rojas wore a necklace AND matching earrings from Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra range, which as you can see from this website is something that is marketed very much to the female buyer.
As an aside, as I searched for articles to link to this post, I noticed that Joc Pederson wore a pearl necklace during the '21 postseason.

Re: Baseball / Van Cleef & Arpels
I am sorry I know nothing about Baseball or what either side earring means. I dislike unbalances looks, so am not a fan of single earrings for men, but I desperately wanted to wear dangly earrings. I then discovered several men sporting gauges (large hole earrings) in both ears, so that gave me a way in and hence I screwed up all of my courage, and after walking past the piercing shop near Leicester Square 3 of 4 times, made myself walk in and get 2.4mm gauges in each ear, as my starting point to my goal size of 10mm. Over many months, I expanded my holes, until I reached 10mm
I love my 10mm holes in my ears and now have a second 1.6mm piercings in each ear, so I can wear whatever takes my fancy these days.
I think the range of jewellery for men is so small, that some in the public eye, grab some from the pink section in the shop to make a statement and get some notoriety.

Daily, a happy man in a skirt...

Hi, I think necklace and matching earrings also can look great on a man. I usually wear earrings on both ears when going out, but not at work. It's just an accessory these days, like watches, rings, etc.
As far as Joc Pederson pearl necklace, I have seen many men wearing those. However I must admit Joc´s necklace is quite long to wear while practicing any sport.
Cheers,
Tes
