How often do you wear a skirt?

I'm currently wearing one now it's a faux leather skirt and comes to just above the ankles, now it's moving into the later part of the year i will be wearing a skirt most weekends. I love leather skirts and love them too.

Not as often as I'd like to, given my... "living situation", at the moment. On a side note, Target has a pretty good selection of skirts I wanted to wear, and I was compelled to buy myself a short jean skirt just this morning. I haven't worn it yet, and I did some measurements to gauge how it'd fit me. I'm guessing it's just below the navel, but I can probably mitigate that by wearing it lower with a belt.


I'm finally using Imgur for my pictures! I wanted to upload more, but decided on sticking to just this one image, for now; I didn't want to do the work of trying to resize the other ones to be similar in size to the first one. It's a learning process, and I'm glad that this is so much easier to do than uploading it directly from my computer.

Very rarely get the chance, so at home myself today doing paperwork. My no thrills comfy outfit, shirt, jumper, black pencil skirt & black 100 Den tights. Very plain, but comfortable.

Long car trips really make me appreciate skirts...the comfort factor vs pants is no contest!

Daily. I keep a pair of coveralls and pants buried deep in my emergency box of the car in case I've got to crawl under it -- often as much to protect the skirt I'm wearing, rather the need for pants. I've commented here before about crawling under a vehicle in a public setting, but I'm not keen to rip skirt or skin when a pair of pants will suffice. I have numerous "work skirts" -- mostly denim things that I don't mind messing up for the times the task is messy. I had to "look hard" to remember where I had some pants to wear on my recent trip through the US border! I chose to wear pants for a few hours about five years ago when at a demonstration at the Court house for a kid we were trying to get asylum for from a pedophile father as I thought the optics might not sit well wearing a skirt.

I wear dressing gowns a lot of the time at home. Separate skirt and top pretty much only at folk dances.
