Your Favorite Skirt Length?

I like knee length, especially top of the knee. It's very teasy and flirty--just barely giving others a glimpse of your kneecaps when you walk. Short enough to be casual and long enough to be formal. Also, it's long enough that you can bend over and touch your toes without people behind you seeing your underwear.

For me, around knee length or a bit above but not shorter than about 4" above knees, I do have a few longer sarongs or lavalavas.
First skirt I wore was a lavalava when I was in the Solomon Islands back in 1997, very comfortable and practical in the climate and environment.

Most of mine are between 10 and16" with one ankle length one for when its really cold.

Knee to below the knee - 20" to 22" typically. Sarongs should be mid-calf to ankle-length, obviously.

Practically everything I have is surposed to be knee length. This is based though on a womens figure, that is the waist band is roughly in line with the navel and hanging from there over the hips.
Well, i'm 59 and i have a bit of a tum which makes skirts at the navel a bit uncomfortable. If i breath in the skirt drops down. Therefore, i'm happy for my skirts to hang off my hips which are lower then a womens, roughly 4".
So every knee length skirt I have is below the knee. It works ok I think.

To be totally predictable with my screen name ............. 10" to 14" depending on the situation. Probably 80% of the time 11" to 13".

For me it’s knee length or just above the knee although I’ve also become a fan of longer skirts recently, especially denim maxi’s and satin skirts which are around calf length!

Anything more than 3/4 inches above the knee and I feel a bit exposed

I'm in the below the knee gang if I can choose, about 5-10cm under the kneecap is perfect.

Down to mid calf is okay or up to just above the kneecap. I don't really like shorter I feel exposed. Longer and it starts to get in the way too much(but certain designs work).

Top of the knees. For me that’s an 18” skirt length, wearing the waist at my “jeans” waist.

Mid calf for me. Knee length just acceptable. I feel too exposed if wearing above the knee.

Well, in spring/summer, I prefer knee length and lower as I enjoy how long skirts swish about my legs while I walk. However, in fall/winter, I enjoy knee length and higher as I love showing off my legs in black tights.
