Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.

This is getting scary
Nope. This just what societal decay looks like.
Unfortunately, my changes during one of the previous "events" made matters worse for SkirtCafe. We should be back much closer to where we ought to be.
The maximum number of simultaneous users, given our community size ought to never exceed 100 -- and that's being generous.

For what it is worth. Access was once VERY slow and incomplete; later not all --From Costa Rica; & when attempted with a server out of Seattle. Glad it fired up properly this evening; 17:30; 03-05-25 CST

For whatever reason, SC doesn't like Nord's Seattle VPN, I get a blacklisted error when I load the site. I've been using the San Francisco servers without issue.

Moon, most of this tech stuff is beyond me; my vpn is via Avast and has usually worked fine. I used Proton a few years back, briefly, with mostly decent results, but more costly. My comment was primarily for Carl and some of our software engineer whizzes -- thinking whatever tips they get may hopefully help. Thanks for the heads up if I make changes.
I was wondering the very same thing. Of some sort of hack somewhere within the next work some how affecting SC
I'm glad to see the sight back up and on.
I had been trying for several days now.
It has been a good month since I had been on so it was sort of a great shock when trying to "check in" and see what is going on in the MIS world. With the warmer weather coming to the north American continent. Its feeling like it's time to start dusting off the skirts. Truthfully I have had some struggles in the last year and skirts have kinda taken a back seat. I think I might share more but I'll do it over in the personal stories. And not here in the hacked.
