OK, I watched the episode, I was amazed the Apprentice is still going after all these years and still following the same old story. IMHO Lord Sugar fired the creative person when he should have fired the one who came up with that poor logo. It was a pity that the skirt they came up with, wasn't more usable. It was also interesting that the team that lost had more of their by buyers on board 6 out of 8 than the winning team 3 out of 8, but the order volume total was lower. My point is that the buyers were not adverse to taking a skirt for a man, just not in volume.

I am sure Mia Collins will go far, she had ideas and strength to back them.

Thanks for bring the episode to our attention.

The US Apprentice started in 2004 with Trump and the UK Apprentice started in 2005 with Alan Sugar. Trump was fired in 2015 from the show. Lord Sugar is still batting to this day.

I seen the same article but this time from the dreaded Daily Mail. I rolled my eyes a lot reading those toxic comments about men wearing skirts add dresses from moron Daily Mail readers. One comment was…
99.99 percent of blokes do not want skirts or dresses etc and the few who do should wear that sort of stuff only in the privacy of there own homes, and even then only when no under 18s are present.
What an absolute depressing comment but is typical of Daily Fail readers.
My name is Arty. I’m a guy with a passion for wearing skirts, dresses and tights and a hobbiest musician and artist. 8)

Are we seeing something that lacks sincerity? Winners and losers being chosen before they enter the competion. Is the focus of the show to get eyes on the screen without too much public critisism?

30 years ago we had token 'ethnic' participants, wheras now having a culturally diverse group is an absolute must. Lord Sugar at the helm shows some old traditions are still firmly in in place. It's a relativenly new idea that the gap between masculine and feminine is much smaller that previously thought. They openly said that skirts for men is undeniable, happening and out there. To featured skirts for men on a prime time show is a step in the right direction for us.

Well, he's trying to annex Canada as the 51st state (I have no doubt that the Canadian people will fight that tooth and nail!), so why not make an attempt at the Mother Country as well? It's not entirely unbelievable given how insane things are right now.

We all know what President Trump is, so on thread.
The Apprentice is just another "reality" show which is steeped in fiction, smoke and mirrors.
The idea of floating a viable business based on skirts for men is a non starter in my opinion.
There is no profit to be had in that now, nor is there likely to be in the foreseeable future.
That has nothing to do with what the press says it is just money so we will be crossing the aisles for a long time to come.
Easier just to get used to it, simpler.

Yes, Stevie, crossing aisles, or maybe being lucky enough to find something at some of the shortlived sites that do offer these garments labeled as mens wear. Crossing aisles is not a problem for me, one because the prices are better and two because getting to try something on or at least measure it against one's body before buying is a huge benefit.
