Floral Hibiscus Swim Trunks

Discussion of fashion elements and looks that are traditionally considered somewhat "femme" but are presented in a masculine context. This is NOT about transvestism or crossdressing.

Floral Hibiscus Swim Trunks

Post by LiuBang »

My favorite pair of Swim Trunks are these https://www.amazon.com/Ralph-Lauren-Pol ... B08GJ698GG. They're also the breeziest shorts I own.

I like the Turquoise color along with the dark blue contrast of the big, bold hibiscus flowers. It's oh so very lovely, pretty, and cute. I feel like a dainty little flower when wearing it. I like wearing it with a short sleeved orange rash guard for more contrast, and with unisex flip flops/crocs plus a bathrobe (which is essentially a unisex wrap dress).

The whole ensemble feels so plush and summery--adjectives typically reserved for women's clothing--despite all the items technically being male/unisex. I like such swimwear because it's basically the only area in which straight cis men are allowed to express their flamboyant, feminine side without having their sexuality questioned. I've also never once seen another guy wear the same swim trunks as me (and even a guy wearing a bathrobe to the pool is unusual) so I feel very unique and expressive.

Back when I used to wear swimwear I definitely tended to the colorful and expressive because it was acceptable. Floral, tropical, neon yellow  you name it.

They are not trunks. They are shorts.

And in my case I can't wear trunks alone unless I want to give people an eyeful with my chest mounds. So I have a tankini which has boy shorts to give room for my male junk. As my dear departed wife would say, "John, you're one of a kind. You have tits and a dick".

My brain started wondering what the legal position is with a man having tits. Have the decency laws caught up with people changing. I know trans women to men, make a big thing of being able to go bare chested having had top surgery.

Sorry for wandering off subject, but....🤔

I believe in Texas the definition of indecent exposure pertains only to exposing the genitals. Of course some Barney Fife of a cop still could arrest a topless woman or someone who looks like a topless woman for disorderly conduct.

To add to Johns statement, in many places a woman wearing pasties that cover the Nipple and Areola of the breast is not legally topless. However that may not always apply, There was an incident here in the DFW area where waitresses wearing pasties were considered topless because City Ordinance required the covering the bottom half of their breast, IE Underboob is the same as topless in that town.
That particular restaurant is no longer in business while other Breaturants are still open in that town.

IMHO, Women should be able to go topless any place that a man can do topless.

I wear a tankini top or rashguard with bike short style bottoms if I have to ware a swimsuit.

Waring a swimsuit is against the Pool Rules at my house. 8)
