What's extraordinary is he became an expert in pathology for NCIS.

David was one of the best actors I have watched over the years. He not only learned his lines, but learned about what type of job and person that does those jobs too.
And yes he learned all about pathology and the work of a coroner to be able to look and act as though he was actually one. This is what made him a great actor.

He will be missed!!

First noticed McCallum in his U.N.C.L.E. role. It was a pleasant surprise when I realized that he was still acting (NCIS) in his older years.

Illya, Steel and Ducky, all great characters played by a great actor.
He was also born in Scotland, says it all really.
