The King's new Skirt
I feel this is a perfect example of the absurd notions that are associated with Scotland, tartan and the Kilt.
Wear a kilt by all means and enjoy it but please don't think that you are following in the footsteps of Highland warriors or continuing a great Scots tradition.
If anyone is upset, read some real history and leave Walter Scott, Mel Gibson and Hollywood in general out of it.

Stevie I'm not a Royalist, far from it. Up the revolution!
I like wearing my tarten skirt every now and then to exchange the "look aways" with "ooooo I love a man in a kilt".
Thanks for the info I had no idea until you told me about the true history of the kilt.

Re: The King's new Skirt
I was interested in the way they alighted from the car wearing skirts ..... sort of walked out; oh for a bit of headroom.
