Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
I almost put this in the strange and unusual skirts thread, but this is a "men's skirt" and felt it belongs here (or perhaps the couture forum). Can anyone help me figure out what the heck the outfit is? Is that a shirt/tunic/dress? Is this literally an apron, or did the designer think selling half a skirt for 100 times what it's worth was a good idea? I suspect these will be destined for the clearance aisle.
Hi Coder,
Nobody can claim to have been misled, it is an apron.
Fancy and expensive but still an apron.
Either one for the cook who has everything or a particular peccadillo?
Oh, and more money than sense.
Steve.
Sure beats my leather one with the bondage chains and whip pockets.
I just saw this and found that the item linked no longer available. Not surprising. I did look through some of thw other items that are available and can see that Bergdorf Goodman is not a place for me. The cost of apron is is in keeping with the exorbitant prices they list for other items.
