Re: over kilt
Hi Ron,
No long time, no speak.
Overkilt just looks like a pinafore/dungaree skirt to me.
I hope it came in at a decent price, is it UK by any chance?
Steve.
I'm guessing the guy is an ok enough lumberjack though, interesting chopper.

Re: over kilt
I have two of these. They are very well made , but extremely heavy. Add hot to that as well. The company is amazing too. One of my buckles broke and they just sent a brand new overkill! I cannot wear these in the summer. They are super hot.

Re: over kilt
I have a couple very similar but dare I say it...
they are pinafore dresses....
a bit shorter and are quite good in summer with a t shirt underneath.
nice casual sort of look.
Cheers

Re: over kilt
I was thinking of using my similar garments, "jumpers" my wife informs me is the correct name, without a shirt in warm weather when I'm using tools such as the guy pictured.nzfreestyler wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 8:04 am I have a couple very similar but dare I say it...

Couldn't tell if you were joking or not - but to clarify for everyone:Jim wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 12:22 pmI was thinking of using my similar garments, "jumpers" my wife informs me is the correct name, without a shirt in warm weather when I'm using tools such as the guy pictured.nzfreestyler wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 8:04 am I have a couple very similar but dare I say it...

USA:
Jumper = overall dress
UK:
Dungarees = overalls (us)
Pinafore = dungaree dress
Jumper = sweater (us)

And if you’re carrying an axe like this guy, who’s gonna confront you? Hahahahanzfreestyler wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 8:04 am I have a couple very similar but dare I say it...

What I love about your comparison of the pinafore dress and the overall kilt is how I looked right at the kilt and never saw a dress until you pointed it out. Just shows the power of words. Call a dress an overall kilt, and it’s manly. Axe helps…
