Skirts and corsets

I don't know if anyone here is into corsets but I like them. I would love to have one made someday. I recently found this picture of a young man wearing a sleeveless dress. I'm thinking if you change the dress to a skirt and add a corset you'd have the same look. BTW I don't care for the hat.

Lose that hat, and there may be a wearable look. The "dress" is fine, the "blouse/shirt", changeable.
As for a corset, yeah, your choice, no more no less.
More importantly, learn to be comfortable with your own good self.

Yes, they'd work well. I've recently (as of a little over a year ago) started experimenting with sun dresses. Found that the strapless styles, even if they don't have any boning structure in the bodice, provide very good back support. They also sometimes are warmer than an equivalent shirt & skirt combo, which is an interesting thing I discovered. Less coverage on the body, yet, warmer on a cold day.

A corset will provide even more support and help minimize the belly, since the fit is usually adjusted by lacing. If you've the normal amount of chest, arm, and back hair, it'd probably be a good idea to wear a shirt, either underneath or over the corset. But, if you're lucky to be fairly free of hair on the torso, you might be able to get away with just the corset and the skirt as your outfit.

I recently got a corset to minimize the belly for an "Elegant Gothic Aristocrat" outfit. I wear a full slip underneath the corset. Interesting for sure!

I had a corset made by Meschantes Corsetry, of Raleigh, NC. I don't get to wear it as much as I would like, but I like the effect it hss on my body shape, and the posture enforcement.

I don't think it's a dress. Read the caption on the photo - "bodysuit" - and look closely at the hemline. That guy is sooooo conventional!

A bit too flowery for me, but if you like it, go for it!

The hemline looks as if there are shorts in there somewhere. Difficult to see because it is so dark.

It looks like a pair of "MC Hammer" pants with the leggings cut off. Blech.

Hem the "MC Hammer" parachute shorts up a little, and you've a skirt, since you wind up removing the crotch. Dude needed to do that.

I personally would take a pair scissors cut the hem,get rid of the shorts look the bodysuit look,I do like the dress look though, get rid of the sailors hat, A nice Fedora would be a better hat, (my opinion)I do like wearing hats, I would wear the outfit. I have never tried a corset though,I may have to try one of those sometime if I find one that would fit and I love the comforts of a nice comfy skirt or a nice comfy dress, I wear them frequently, almost every evening after work.
