Well I just Googled it, and I got only one hit: http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f99/ ... m-up-8025/ , at post no 6.

Changing my search to "the worst day in" "is better than the best day in", I was offered "the worst day in government is better than the best day in opposition", which appears not to be a particularly new thought. Whoever said that first, I prefer the kilted version!
