Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.

2012 was one of my worst years on record, and, if early results are any indication, 2013 is not shaping up to be any better -- so the good cheer is most welcome.
I'm glad Tom remembered the Great Circle route to New England, and the London Underground's sesquicentennial was not lost on me either. I'm wearing my "Tube" tie today in honour of it.

Well a belated Happy Birthday to you Carl! I was out of town on your day so i'm just now catching up with things around here. I'm also proud to share your birthday month with you -the 2nd was my 60th!- and I'm with you about 2012 I was glad to see it pass.
2013 I trust will be better for both of us.
Best wishes my friend!

B&B and WS, thanks too for the warm wishes. Lateness does not matter; it's the thought that counts. We are not all online "24x7", and I am sometimes envious of those who are offline for extended periods of time with nothing but personal interactions in physical ("meat") space to contend with.
Here's hoping that 2013 will be better for all involved!
