I, too, would like to share the sentiments blessing everybody for a happy, propserous, and healthy 2013. Heaven knows that 2012 was bad enough.
My last overt deliberate act for 2012 was to venture north a few towns to see an old friend and ex-bartender at my local "establishment" to wish him a propserous, healthy, and happy New Year. He's scraping by given the local economic environment, but he's giving it the old fighting spirit. I have to get up there more often.
I'm still in the rig I wore earlier -- my long purple "walking skirt", red brocade double-breasted waistcoat, and purple dress shirt (with fire-engine red legwear under the skirt). It turns out that the rig is too hot to wear in the house; I was vastly more comfortable in the sub-freezing outdoors.

Happy New Year to all,
Well I have been walking around my village wearing either knee length or ankle length Midas denim skirts for most of the past week (no comments), or the other one which is about ten inches shorter than my ankle length one (again, no comments).

Happy New Year to you all.
Back at work today (despite it being a public holiday in Scotland - I can take this holiday at a time more suitable for myself) - and wearing a skirt too!
Nobody else in though...

Happy healthy and prosperous New Year to every one,
I went "First footing " yesterday , no one was bothered that I had my long thick maxiskirt on, too cold for anything else !

Re: Happy New Year to you all
Happy new year all.
I haven't done anything this year, but I finished 2012 by doing an errand in my skirt. I was at my GF's place, and I was getting a bit underfoot, when I asked if there was anything I could do for her, she suggested I drop the rent check off. So I did. Partly because I wanted to, and partly because I wanted to get out quickly, I just threw a jacket on over my gray denim look skirt and stockings. It was quick walk across the courtyard, but I still met someone coming home from the bus stop. Nodded, "hi, happy new year!" got a polite reply, no obvious negative reaction. She saw from across the courtyard that I was only dropping off a check, and once she had the door open, she held it and waited for me to walk back over. I thanked her and ran up the stairs. I strongly suspect she did this to get a better look in the hallway lighting, it was coming on to dusk outside. I got a smile, not noticeably mocking, and no overt looking, though there was no way to miss what I was wearing. It may have made a difference, that she appeared to be from a North African country, as are several of the tenants, and may be more used to seeing males in something other than pants/trousers.
