What was I going to say?

Post by Jack Williams »

It might be something to do with my antiqueness, but if I want to add my own "prophuntidy" to whatever site; by the time I navigate all the maze of thing-a-me-bob, I have lost any vague memory of what It was I was going to say. So I yousually put up something bland while I get it together.
What this means is, if you have anything long and world shaking, write it down!

Too true!!! As the old man said to the door to door missionary, when told he should think of the hereafter, "Oh, but I do, every time I open the fridge door I wonder what I'm here after :P :alien:  :bom:

Compose it first in a text file, then when you go to the site and click on the 'Post' button you can copy-&-paste it into the publish form.

Pleated's suggestion is certainly one valid one. I've thought a "quick reply" function is nice in those fora I have used them in. Often saves a couple page loads, since it is perfectly adequate for most posts.

Assuming you remember it all! But often I write down a whole lot of stoned blather, but don't post anything until I've edited it in the cold light of the following morning!
