In the course of doing a search on google+ yesterday I came across the following post, subsequent comment, and replied to it. In return got a response from the poster Jennifer Coleman.

Jennifer Coleman posted : - "I have a general bias against men in skirts....I mean, kilts."

Further down amongst the comments to the post Jennifer Coleman said : - Skirts were like...the one thing women had all to themselves. Now men are invading that arena too.

I replied:- That's a bit rich given that in the west at least, most of the female population wear trousers for much of the time.

I'm not sure what relevance her comment has to men in skirts, but can't help wondering whether you told her about the Shepee and how women are trying to get in on at least the first of her two guy things? Perhaps she'd like to swap allowing men to choose to wear skirts for her being able to choose to pee standing up?

Sadly some minds are most effectively opened with a fire axe...

Have fun,

Ian.

Sometimes engaging with a closed mind (or several) in a public space allows us to get through to other minds that we could not see, but which which are prepared to consider ideas outside their previous experience.

I guess you could think of it as collateral construction; a positive alternative to collateral damage.

Have fun,

Ian.

PS Watching confusion spread across a field of closed minds is sometimes highly entertaining... :D

The way I look at it men can no longer wear pants. Looking at all the women wearing pants we are now cross dressing when in pants. We have to wear kilts to have a unique man's garment.

I get so angry at this kind of double standard. Its ok for them to take EVERYTHING of men's but the moment men take from women they scream its unfair. The fact is, skirts and dresses are originally mens clothing, we are just reclaiming them. It amazes me that people can be so selfish and hypocritical. Even when women have so much freedom in fashion they refuse to share anything.

I guess the good thing in this is that skirts are beginning to become popular enough for men that people are paying attention.
