Hiatus Fashion Show 2012

Post by alsachti »

These are some photos from the fashion show held in Strasbourg by Hiatus with the help of the HEJ association. The public was enthusiastic.
More photos on the association's Facebook page.

I would wear most of these! - though personally not the long, near ankle length one but that is just personal taste. Nothing wrong with the look or style.

Wonder what they will cost in the shops? Or when retailers realise that there is a market for men's skirts.

And start making their own versions (at sensible prices!)

What it needs is for a manufacturer to do a deal with a retailer (an independently owned and free-thinking one) to stock some on a commission basis. Trouble is, from what I have read here all the manufacturers make to order. Maybe they can't afford to have loads of money tied up in stock.

Any shop doing that would be able to get a load of free publicity in the local papers. Surely it would make sense for a few shops in a studenty or bohemian part of a city.
Keep on skirting,

Alastair
