Long kilt/skirt?

Post by Man in a skirt »

I'm a first responder/former firefighter/emt/Search and Rescue Team member, and all around helpful guy. Given that I've long, long ago sworn off shorts (something about kneeling in the road on broken glass one too many times...) I'm wondering if there are any kilts that are long enough to cover the knees when kneeling, and if not, what modifications might be made? take a standard kilt and lengthen the pattern? Perhaps a regular women's heavy skirt and make it a tactical/cargo skirt?

I've been thinking of a denim kilt too...

Check http://www.mode-trend-s.de and go to männerröcke. This is Sabine Seidel from former Eastern Germany who makes men's skirts to measure.
Good craftmanship, short delivery times (3 weeks within Europe) and low prices are key words here.
I ordered a long jeans skirt two years ago and it fits like a glove.
Language could be a problem but there's still Google Translate...

Utilikilt makes various lengths and used to make custom length. Call them.
You don't get to judge me by your standards. I have to judge me by mine.

L L Bean used to (and may still) make kilt style women's skirts that are below the knee in length. I have a couple of them (which I've found at thrift stores around here) as I prefer this non-traditional kilt length myself.
