Yes, I have bought skirts on ebay before & now I'm getting rid of some which were just too small, or just plain wrong.

This beats the purge which used to happen when things got too much, on occasion.

Well, having you lot saying how good kilts are I decided to buy one from ebay - black, yes. woman's, yes (buckles on my left hand side), but definitely a kilt.

Quite weighty for a piece of clothing, too. Haven't measured it's length yet, but comes to just above the knees. I wore it out to a study evening (as I do tend to more often than any other evening out *sigh* ) & found it to be brilliantly warm, but without the character of a lighter material.
I will be selling it on next time there is a no fees insertion weekend.

Surprised you say the kilt's is a woman's kilt, seeing as you described the skirt you were selling as being for men or women!

It had never occurred to me to describe skirts as being for men when selling them on Ebay. Since skirts are a division of women's clothing on Ebay, trousermen are hardly likely to stumble on it by accident! But good for you anyway, it might put a thought into someone's mind.
Keep on skirting,

The reason for calling it a woman's kilt is having the kilt men on here explain why it is so, having to do with the side it fastens.

As for the skirts I posted for sale as Men's or womens, they got a lot more hits, & I even sold a couple I'd put up previously as just "a skirt". The extra description helped a little for the sales :D
I shall see what happens next time I put stuff up for sale.

We have to ALL get into skirts before young women of this generation who were raised in pants and other kinds of trousers try a skirt and find out how wonderfully comfortable they are compared to pants. Then WE MEN can POINT at women and scream out, YOU WOMEN GET BACK INTO YOUR PANTS, SKIRTS ARE FOR MEN ONLY! THEY ARE MEN'S CLOTHES!!

Personally, I'd love it if about 25% of women (the ones who skirts suit) put skirts on - I love seeing women in skirts, too. :D :D

But you already know how bossy some (not all) women are about what men are ALLOWED to wear. If they find out how comfy those garments (skirts)they gave up at around age 6 really ARE, they may start a movement to keep men OUT, OUT, OUT of skirts. Heaven Forbid! :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint:
