Seems the Orvis company has some baggy slacks they are trying to pass off as a 'Split Skirt' . Check it out at this shortcut -

Maybe their marketing people decided that the word "culottes" was too poorly understood for their customers?

Those things were the rage among the girls in High school, I thought that the looked awful and they have not gotten any better with age. Calling a baggy ugly pair of pants a skirt is just a bad marketing attempt.
Woman have Fashion, Men have a Uniform.
A skirt wearer since 2004 and a full time skirt wearer since 2020.
