Quite a nice outfit I think and good to see a sportsman in a skirt.

That's good news when a public figure, presumably popular, sports a skirt for the world to see. Good style, plain and simple, not too flamboyant; I think that is the way men's mugs should be. Pity he did not wear it when he was in France.

It's not a first for him, according to this article he wore a skirt in 2008 to collect the French Footballer of the year award. He is also pictured at the bottom of this article from June 2009 in a skirt.

There is a bigger picture of the recent skirt here.

Have fun,

Cool outfit, suits him well! He is not the first contemporary sportsman who willingly appears in skirts. There is at least David Beckman, who has been seen in various sarongs and skirts as well, and not looking bad either. I think, Brian Ferry had a concert wearing a kilt, there are probably many more, yet not enough. I am not counting Boy George, he was a different league, although definitely not an average crossdresser.

Like this outfit, with the one proviso that the predictable "heavy boots not put on properly" with its corny signalling is not to my taste.
Have just had a linen skirt made that is very similar to this one, you will find an image of it elsewhere on this site

My first reaction is that's a guy in a dress. In fact, the associated story mentions both skirt and dress. Does anyone know which it was? I think he looked good in it, striding out with confidence.

The better picture, to which I posted a link, shows that he is wearing a v-necked, black, t shirt above the black pleated skirt. The jacket means it is not possible to tell the sleeve length.

I also saw it at a different site and it truly is a V necked shirt over a pleated black A-line skirt. :pint:
