Wonderful stuff. There was the take on Neil Armstrong's first words on stepping out onto the Moon's surface.......'A small step for (a) man, a giant leap for Ronnie Corbett!'

"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

Hi Paul,
Never noticed the missing U, but would never point it out anyway.

Nice one, but spare a thought for the sheep-always nervously looking over their shoulders.

Re: British Humor!!!!!!!!
Since were on the topic of British Humor, what does everyone think about Dr. Who?
I always thought of Dr. Who as Sci-Fi humor rather than serious sci-fi that attempts to be serious, like Star Trek, etc.
When I first saw Dr. Who it was being broadcast on a local TV outlet in 15 minute installments just before prime time. Since I was an adult working in the real world I only got to see a few episodes, of the original doctor and thought it all rather lame. But later on it came out second time on our PBS (Public Broadcasting Station) in 1-1/2 hour episodes and made more sense that way. I began watching it again with the Jon Pertwee doctor and followed on with Tom Baker, etc.
I was saddened by the way it seemed to limp off the air after years of the BBC trying to re-invent it.
Then they started over again and this time I really go into it again. I especially liked David Tenant and I like Matt Smith. Christopher Eccelson was good but Tenant was better.
That also got me into Torchwood and Primevel. Two series I really enjoy. Glad to see Primevel is back!
Of course, on BBC America we see this all about a year after the BBC broadcasts in the UK.
Would love to get to see it in "real time" when it's being broadcast over there.
Anyone's thoughts on this other form of humor in the UK?

Re: British Humor!!!!!!!!
Never seen Primevil, but I do like the relaunched Doctor Who and Torchwood.
British humour I think stands out: Allo Allo as discussed, Black Books, Father Ted, the old Dads Army, Red Dwarf, well up to series 5 anyway, Still Game, oh yes, and Blackadder. This doesn't include my favourite sketch shows.
Ringing any bells?
