Given the severity of the incident, and the age of your machine, that's hardly surprising. It does beat having to shell out for a new one, though!The mechanic did tell me that I've got a few 'problems' coming up but none that require immediate attention. They can wait 3-6 month [...] I will need to have the 'bushings' replaced on the upper & lower "Idler Arms" on both sides of the front-end.
I'm still amazed that the insurance company opted for a repair rather than a "total loss". I'm very glad it worked out for the best!
