MUGs IN, MUGs OUT!

Post by Since1982 »

Any Skirts or other Unbifurcated garments or MUGs such as tunics, kilts, robes or dresses for men that are being unused and need to find a new home for any of a bunch of reasons. This is the place to look for them and sell, give, trade them away. Good Luck All!
I've opened an identical sub-forum at the other site also. Please add any pertinent information such as size, color, style and price of MUG, be it skirt, kilt, dress, robe, etc.

Thanks for that good idea Layne0033. :D :D :D

I had to remove this signature as it was being used on Twitter. This is my OPINION, you NEEDN'T AGREE.

Uncle Al:

You got that right !!!!!

MEASUREMENTS (DETAILS) !!!!!

Can not emphasize enough about the "Critical Measurements"

If you are using a flat one sided measurement - please state that!
I.E. waist 36 inches (18 flat across and doubled = 36).

Basically the BIG 3 are WAIST - HIP - HEM (length)

A kilt is worn at the navel - while a skirt may be worn at natural waist or low waist?
Details such as is the waist band elastic (UNstretched and Stretched measurement)?
If not elastic how is the skirt fastened closed with a zipper panel (& where is the zipper located - back; front or side)
or some other method such as buttons or possibly velcro?
Description of the maintenance of the skirt; i.e. wash & wear - dry clean - iron or no iron.
DO NOT use size tags! Size (tags) are not an uniform standard. There is the vanity factor and one manufacturers size
is not necessarily the same as another especially in items designed or marketed to women.
If you are using the european common metric measurement a conversion to the king's english system would be helpful!
Beware the color displayed on your monitor may not be the same as what is viewed in real (daylight) lighting!

The more information provided leads to a successful sale with fewer questions/answers needing to be exchanged.

The second time around can be a rewarding experience for both buyer and seller. A Win-Win situation!

"Kilt-On"
rm
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

OK, since I started this madness I did go thru my closet. Will get photos taken this weekend of the ones I am ready to pass along and try my best to get them posted on Monday. Even found on Midas black pleated skirt that still has the cards they send in the pockets, still in the pockets. Guess I never got arond to wearing that one.

Finally, here is the first one up:

Got this one from http://www.midasclothing.com

It is tagged as a size 32 and actually measures 16.25" flat, across the waistband.
Total length from tip of waistband to bottom of hem is 19". Color is Black.
One pocket on the back as pictured.
Material is 100% Poloyester. New without the tags, I removed them and then never wore this particular skirt, the cards that they put in the pocket upon shipment are still in there.
I really did love this on however at 19" long, it proved to be a bit short for my taste and my 6'-3" height. Hope it finds a good home in here - else I plan on putting it on Ebay.
