For Christmas, thanks to my wife,

Post by Uncle Al »

I get to pick up my new 10" table saw on Wednesday. Now I
only have to save up for a 9" or 10" band saw and my 'shop'
will be completed.

Very nice! And you can use your sporran to store some spare fingers! Can we be so bold as to ask what sort of stuff you produce?

This is for my wood shop. I've already acquired a router-with table,
drill press, scroll saw, miter/cut-off saw and several saber saws.

These 'tools' will be used to rebuild my existing organ console or to
build one from 'scratch' (I have the plans for a 3 manual console).

I'm contemplating building a 2/3 scale console and placing the insides
of my 1960-ish Lowrey T-1 combo organ into the 'new' console.
This would be given to my grandson. Then again I may keep the
T-1 'as-is' and just replace a couple of the plugs. It does come in
handy on some of the 'events' I've played at.
