May we reflect on the blessings we’ve received and
those yet to come.
May the spirit of Christmas fill our hearts with love
for our family, joy for our friends and peace to all!
Merry Christmas!

I thought it was "MERRY CHRISTMAS" and Happy Birthday or Happy Thanksgiving?? Merry like the merry red cheeks of Santa Claus...There are no Holly trees down here to get a stake from and the only pudding I know of is Tapioca 6 packs from Winn Dixie. By the way, what IS a humbug anyway?i wish that every man that walked about the holiday season with the words "HAPPY CHRISTMAS!" on his lips should be boiled in his own pudding and buried with a stake of holly through his heart. christmas is a humbug. bah, humbug!"
"happy christmas" was the standard phrase until around the turn of the 20th century, when it changed to merry christmas (don't know why).Since1982 wrote:I thought it was "MERRY CHRISTMAS" and Happy Birthday or Happy Thanksgiving?? That's ultimately what it's all about anyway -- companionship and camaraderie with one's fellow humans during the darkest time of the year.r1g0r wrote:the presents are almost meaningless (now that i'm older), but having my sons, daughter-in-law, and soon-to-be daughter-in-law ALL here at once cannot help but put a smile upon my face.
