Re: What do you do?

I am a motor mechanic by trade, but for the last 25 years worked in the panel beating industry (auto body shop in the states) as an estimator. Not sure what category to mark in the survey :)

Keep it up Beachlion the more you wear your Kilts the more compliments you will get. I've been wearing my kilts every weekend for the last 18 months everywhere I go and get compliments most weekends :D

Re: Do folks notice or not?

I think people do notice. In the 60 plus years I wore pants and shorts I never got 1 compliment. Since I have been wearing kilts when ever I can, I get compliments almost every weekend. :D

Re: Zara Men's Skirt

Hi Ray. I know we are trying to promote gender equality when it comes to clothing. But I am still of the opinion that if a garment is designed for men to wear it should look like it designed for a guy. And with regards to changing the garment, it doesn't. Even if it did wrap to the right I still don...

Re: Zara Men's Skirt

Just took a look at the skirt, it looks like a ladies wrap skirt put onto a male model, it wraps to the left. If it was truly made for a guy it would wrap to the right. And what's with one side longer than the other. Sorry not for me. :(

Re: Did it myself

Here is another attempt at home made just finished. Looks a little short, but that's how I like them. This kilt has a Kinggussey pleat. My wife loves this one because it has narrow pleats. I went to the local shopping mall this morning and heard say to his kids, see that man there do you know what c...

If its advice and support you are looking for, for wearing skirts of any shape or type out in public then this is the site you are looking for, but if you are into full cross dressing then maybe not. Of the pictures I seen of you, they are very nice and suit you very well. :D

Re: introducing myself

Hi Karl and welcome, people tend to more excepting of denim on guy as it looks like shorts at first glance. Going out in very feminine type skirt may raise a few eyebrows for your first outing, get them used to your skirt wearing then graduate from there. :D

Hi Ryan and welcome to the group. Great choice for your skirt and you look great in it. As for going commando in such a short skirt is great around the house or in areas were you may not meet other people is great and also very comfortable, when I go out in my kilts which are shorter than the norm I...
