Justification?

Attention spans being what they are (about as short as .. .. .. --well, nevermind) if you choose to "go there", i.e. explain mug, unbifurcate, etc, then I'd expect that as you delve into the explaination you'll lose your audience and in no time they are thinking you are making up a justif...

Not being too hung up on nomenclature, I find it may in certain social situations be convenient or appealing to refer to my skirt as simply a "modern kilt, of a type" Since the kilt is so recognisable, stating that a skirt is a "type of kilt" would be risky at best because someb...

I like the new design, but humbly offer the following observations: The blue text "skirt" is somewhat difficult to read against the blue background. This might prove profoundly confusing for folks with some forms of colour-blindness or folks with low-contrast monitors. To my eyes, the word...

On names....

In particular, any aspect of fashion freedom is within the realm of discussion at the Cafe, just as it always was. The Cafe is a place of Bravehearts and Freestylers, just as it always was. Great! For a while there I was a little worried that a scalpel would be taken to the Cafe in the name of &quo...

My total posts from The Cafe say 282 but it only says 54 here - how come? This is only the second post at this new site. Where did the 54 come from? My guess is that it's an artefact of the way that the backing database was brought over from Noodles' server to Bob's. The post count looks like it's ...

Well it registered today...should have worn the hat I guess. Got my first f*g comment yelled from a car while walking downtown. Well, one has to expect some level of hostility when pushing boundaries. {shrug} I'm sorry about your abuse. Theodore Roosevelt eh? Take a good look at the hat, the eyes, ...

great, but so tom's cafe is no more? the name, I mean? The name Tom's Cafe will persist, but will contain the history of the forum as Tom Manuel's legacy. New conversation will happen here, or where-ever here moves to. At least I think I've got that right. I hope Tom is looking down at us with prid...

[...] why don't I wear a skirt in the office? [...] I like to be paid, and I like respect. Thus, no skirt at work. That's, I think. a bit simplistic. As you're already respected for your work and your contribution to the Corporation, it should, technically, be a non-issue unless you'd be interfacin...

Watching someone who knows how to "work a skirt" can be an incredibly arousing experience -- and more than just arousing that :D It's an aesthetic experience that's almost otherworldly it's so rare now. Once everything's in motion, the overall result is just absolutely grand.

Wore the "invisible" short denim Old Navy skirt with sleeveless denim "trucker" shirt and imfamous blue hat out today to a home improvement show. When I first looked at that photograph, all I could think of was, "Oh. My. God.... It's Teddy Roosevelt.". Trust me Binx, t...

I can't just go out and fork out the $$ for a kilt just to wear to the show b/c that is the only time I would wear it. They're all to expensive. That's fully understandable. I already have a black sweater skirt that I could achieve the same effect in. Barring that, there's my black denim A-line or ...

A question of etiquette

A couple of days back, I may have committed a breach of etiquette about skirts, and I'd like to know the opinions of the lads here. Here's the scene: I was down at my local watering-hole when a waitress/bartender that used to work there came in wearing a mini-skirt that could be best described as a ...

I was out last night for a few cold ones whilst wearing my cranberry calf-length skirt and a blue/grey Hawaiian shirt.

I have been wearing kilts every day now for 5 years, except when going to see my doc, when I put on pants. I therefore wear a kilt even when its blowing high wind. I am interested in the anwsers given, that to stop you showing too much when your kilt/skirt blows up, you should wear a slip. If the w...
