Re: Why can't MEN admit what the kilt is really about?
I wear kilts and skirts all the time. I can agree that a kilt is just a style of skirt. I wear skirts because I like the cooling qualities and the freedom of movement. I however can honestly say that I do not have any tendency towards other "female" attire. I don't wear tights. I don't wea...

Re: What makes a skirt manly v feminine
For me all this fashion talk is fun to read but does not apply to me personally. I wear skirts that fall from my mid thigh to my knee. Other than my half dozen or so man styled kilts all my skirts were bought from the women's isle. Even my Canadian tartan kilt is from the women's side. It was given ...

Re: 2 in 5 men wear womens fashion
Ya, don't know where they would have gotten those stats. unless the majority of them are wearing women's under garments I certainly don't see that on the streets. I live in a town of around twenty thousand. I am out around the area a lot and I have only meet two other men who wear what could be call...

Re: Upskirting - Should the gender of the skirt wearer matter?
It always amazes me how topics in a post thread wonder. Getting back to upskirt pics being taken of me in a kilt or skirt. I agree it should not be done but I have never thought about it and frankly don't care. I don't wear anything under my kilts or skirts, all basically knee length, that is my rea...

Re: Knee length length
I'm another one saying look in a thrift or second hand shop. The one in my town has lots of skirts. Secondly find a local Seamstress. It won't cost much for shorting a skirt. He/She will even measure you for the length you want.

Re: Venom Cargo Skirt
For me I wear skirts for the cooling effect and the freedom of movement. I don't wear them as a fashion statement. If I have to wear pants the reasons I have for wearing a skirt are gone so I see no reason to wear it over a pair of pants.

Agreed. Style is personal. I like short skirts, won't be going long. I wear skirts for the cooling effect. The shorter the better. Ha, even my kilts are short.

Re: Making the effort....inspiration for us.
Ha, ha. Enjoy reading posts like this. Reminds me that people are all different and that reminds me to be kind and sensitive. I can't even pretend to be a fashion inspiration. My only fashion sense is I know the colour chart so my colours match mostly okay. I've never thought about dressing to inspi...

Re: MIS Skews Older?
When I was younger wearing a skirt never entered my mind although I did always want a kilt. Never got one as the cost was astronomical. During covid I suppose like everyone else spent a lot more time on the computer on line. I found Kilts in light weight material out of Pakistan for under 50 dollars...

Re: kilted skirts
Kilt rules are only restrictive if you abide by them. I have had a few Kilts made. I get them made to my specifications. My waist specifies that measurement. I like a 6 in waist band that's what I get. length or drop I have made at 18 inches, 20 inches that's at the top of the knee and 22 inches mid...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
I wear a skirt or kilt every day every where. I have never been asked about pronouns or called ma'am. I believe that is because I act like a man. Send out I'm a man signals. More men aren't wearing kilts or skirts because they fear criticism or are conformists to societies rules. you need to be a st...

Hello Belember, Welcome. I live in Ontario, Ottawa Valley. we have similar weather. I wear a skirt/kilt every day and in the heat it is great. Winter time I add kilt socks to keep the legs warm.
