Re: Sightings "in the wild"

In Norwich M&S today (11/10/25) I saw quite a tall ish chap with a moustache and a denim pencil skirt browsing some of the skirts on the ground floor not far from the Christmas stuff which has sprung up on the other half of that side of the shop.

Re: Clothes shops

I have found M&S in Norwich to be quite limited for Menswear taking up half of the Lower Second Floor. Womenswear takes up Basement, Ground (half is foodhall) and Lower & Upper First Floors. Primark in Norwich is similar with Mens on Second along with Homewares (smaller floor as well to othe...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Was at my sisters graduation and there was a male graduand in a black pleated skirt. My sisters boyfriend had got a recording of the whole event (incuding my sister and all of her friends) via the livestream the university had provided. Here is the clip without audio to protect the persons identity....

Re: Skater Skirts Wearers Weight Loss

Congratulations. Would be interested to hear how you managed to achieve this goal. I've had several half-hearted attempts at weight loss in recent times (with limited success) but I am now at the point where my health is suffering due to my diet and I need to get my weight as well as eating / drink...

Re: Skater Skirts Wearers Weight Loss

Have just ordered 6 skirts from ebay one button up denim skirt from george and a george pencil skirt similar to one I had but also smaller. I also have got from the seller preworn who seem excellent as they put the measurements of the actual item on the listings and with everything second hand it is...

Re: Skater Skirts Wearers Weight Loss

Any inexpensive recommendations would be great as need to replace literally almost all my clothes due to the weight change. The skirts which no longer fit me will be donated to charity. Merry Christmas all and have a happy 2024!! SSW I think you probably have your answer there.... the charity shops...

Skater Skirts Wearers Weight Loss

It has been a while since I have posted on here but I have had to have a clear out of my Skirt collection due to my weight loss with around 50% of the skirts I own no longer fitting. The ones which do still fit are all of stretchy material which is understandable and fit a million times better as a ...

Re: Items on eBay

Just received a burgundy H&M Divided Skater Skirt which is a bit more out there for me (most of my skirts are black). Ordered a size large and it stretches just the same as the other ones I have similar from H&M, however I am due to start losing some weight currently weigh 107.3kg (or 16.89 ...

Re: Have you still got your first skirt?

... I had hundreds of pairs of jeans .... How!? How does anyone have that many pairs of pants, much less jeans alone! I don't have half that many skirts, kilts, pairs of pants, and shorts combined! And my closet is stuffed! The drawers were stuffed full but now have a lot more space, have sent the ...

Re: Have you still got your first skirt?

I still do, a H&M Basics Black Mini Skirt, have recently reorganised my clothes storage as part of a bedroom refurbishment and still have all the skirts I have purchased (most are secondhand off eBay). Found I had hundreds of pairs of jeans which many have gone due to them being damaged or worn ...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Was in Norwich on Wednesday and saw a guy wearing a skirt and leggings going into The Forum (Norwich Library). No one really seemed to notice or care apart from me. Norwich is one of the few places I've actually been laughed at when skirt wearing. Some years ago a couple guys on scaffolding in Lond...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

May have to have a look round Anglia Square at some point in those shops, may even see them from the bus when passing through from the coast.
