Re: Gucci Takes Toxic Masculinity to Task for Fall 2020

Well Dennis, if you can't cope with a man expressing his opinion in a clear and forthright way, I'd say the problem lies with you rather than him. As for toxic masculinity, anyone who uses it as a synonym for masculinity either is a misandrist or has fallen for the misandrists' rhetoric. From readin...

Re: Corona Virus

Johnson and Trump, arseholes the pair of them. 1. Come up with an obviously crap policy, ignoring the advice of your expert advisers. 2. Experts, who needs them? We can do this differently from the foreigners. 3. See city and regional governments under you go in completely the opposite direction. 4....

I think that having Corbyn in charge at this time would have been a disaster. He's never shown any real sense of leadership and kept changing his policies.

Re: Corona Virus

So why did it take China two months of severe lock-down to stop new cases of the disease? (They now say all new cases are in people returning to China. Two weeks solitary confinement for them!)

Re: Checked out

Hmm ... Let's see ...

It's dark. CHECK
You're in stilettos. CHECK
And a trashy (by its own admission) miniskirt. CHECK
And you're sauntering aimlessly round the streets. CHECK

The danger: getting arrested for soliciting! Or getting beaten up by a man who was hoping to be your customer?

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

I was at a gin festival with the Mrs on Saturday. I was in trews, for a change, and without her having to suggest it; it keeps her sweet. And there we saw a man in a plain kilt, which is a pretty unusual sight, even here in Scotland. He was also sporting thick socks deliberately only half pulled up,...

Re: What will you wear on St. Patrick's Day?

The Guinness from a bottle to me had no taste at all just a dark fizzy drink with some alcohol in it. I understand that they ruined the bottled product when they stopped bottle-conditioning it. That was before I was a beer drinker, so I can't say from experience. However I am quite partial to their...

Re: men in business skirt

Dan, I think that if your jacket was a little shorter, you'd wouldn't have had so many people saying the skirt was too short. An inch or two longer would be better, IMO, but it's OK where it is. I see quite a few skirts that length at work. Mostly on women under 40, but also on one who is (I think) ...

Maybe google pictures of previous marches in the US to see what the typical attire is?
Ooh, let me guess ...jeans?

Wear your skirt, Faldaguy, there's no dress code for a march. Knee-length denim will go nicely with all the jeans around you. And be ready for the usual questions.
