Re: Warning: Completely Unmentionables.

I don't see any problem with buying sanitary towels. I've done it several times, though never for myself. I'm shopping for the whole household so there's no reason why I wouldn't buy them if a member of the household needs them. You'd have to be a very bored checkout operator to make a remark about ...

Re: Article on Gucci fashion show

Clicking through the article to the fashion show, and you find that most of the skirted outfits are modelled by women. Not so very radical after all.

The outfits are almost all terrible.

Re: First made dress

This is all a bit too technical for me; I don't sew. So I'll just say that I think it looks like a good thing to wear on a hot summer's day!

Re: “I never joke about my work 007.”

Considering we're back to one of the most frustrating and therefore annoying topics ever to chew up space in this forum, the state of Sinned's marriage as measured by his "MOH's" acceptance of his skirt wearing, I'd say this post has about run it's course. Before we do, I'd like to clear up a few t...

Denimini, I think that rather than congratulating you, we should thank you!

Hello and :welcome: Bluecheese!

I too have been here infrequently of late, but I've posted here enough that I do feel entitled to bid you welcome!

It seems like you could teach a thing or two to some of the guys here, so tell us a few things about your experiences in a skirt.

Re: Andy Rooney Once Said……

Well, that load of tosh in the OP reminded why I don't often wander into the Off Topic area. What a waste of three minutes of my life. Well done Moonshadow for gently taking Uncle Al to task for it. Benjy's 13 virtues are 1300 times more worth reading.

Re: Hello from Belgium!

It is better with the shirt out. The shirt is quite loose, so it goes well with the wide shape of the skirt. It all looks very relaxed and comfortable.

No pockets --- very common problem with skirts. You must choose between a jacket and a bag.

... When you couple that with the government being slow off the mark ... They had no option: the U.K. no longer had a manufacturing base for respirators or pharmaceuticals.  That's why there was a lag whilst our few remaining manufacturing industries got geared up for a new product and our research...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

I have only worn trousers for a total of about 8 hours in the last two months. I only go out for food. I have not gone out in a skirt or dress because in Scotland you are not allowed to go far from home and if you do you are likely to be stopped by the Police and could even be fined. With a bot of ...

Have you tried contacting the guys who post here in the sewing section? Maybe one of them would be willing to make you a bespoke slip, for a small consideration.

Re: Stealth dress

Great work, bl. What if you loosen the belt a notch or two, so it does little more than draw attention to the waist?
