Re: Men in skirts around the world - Straw Poll

What is a p!55? Colloquialism meaning "To make a joke of" "Urinate" or otherwise plain take the mickey. I'm sure you get that. I'm trying to not actually use the word I'm meaning while trying to not use underhanded language. As my father used to say, the language you use shows w...

Re: Men in skirts around the world - Straw Poll

How prevalent are men in skirts in your area? How are men in skirts where you live treated? Where is the best place in the world to live for a man in skirt? 1. I have seen a number of guys in various skirts and sarongs, as well as a number in kilts, at least 4 or 5 others in utility kilts or simila...

Re: Plus size skirts

Sizing is something I haver not fully figured and I doubt I will in a hurry.

My size is in between a 36 and a 38, and that depends on the manufacturer to some degree.
Recently I bought a size 16 denim skirt, which fits me well, falls to about 3" above the knee.

The biggest gaffs I have let slip seem to be caused by spelling corrupter on the fone when I'm replying to an email or SMS.
The fone corrupts what I'm saying when it thinks what I'm trying to say...

Re: Themogan.com catalog

Asian sizing is a catch for the folks who have had no experience. I've had the same problems when I've been in the Philippines. You need to ask for "Americano" sizes. They understand that. An Asian 2XL is more like a western medium. It's interesting when on the MRT in Manila, I can stand a...

Re: SLEEP!

When was the last time I slept all night? I honestly cannot remember. For the last few years as soon as it starts to get light, I'm awake, and in November and December when it's getting light at 0430 it's a PITA... A sarong over my eyes helps with that problem... Too many times I'm up at 2am and wat...

Re: Rings and things - Men wearing jewelry

Rings can be very hazardous. A friend accidentally shorted the battery in his truck when he was replacing the batteries (24V truck), and forgot to disconnect the negative terminal first, and while undoing the positive terminal with a socket driver, contacted the vehicle chassis, the current path thr...

RIP Judith.
She was a brilliant musician.

My mum introduced me to the Seekers at a young age, she had one of their records which got played from time to time. I have her records now, I just need suitable equipment to play it on.

Re: What are the hobbies that you have and do you wear a skirt when doing them?

For me, things like homebrewing, electronics, restoring vintage valve (tube) radios, amateur radio.

I've done it all in skirts and utility kilts.

Skirts can be handy if you drop a screw or a nut, or flick (accidentally) a blob of molten solder onto your legs...

Re: Sarong for men

From an Australian site:

https://saronghut.com.au/collections/men

I have one of their Luxe sarongs and one of the other sarongs, the quality is very good, and they feel good.
My wife likes it when I wear if a bit shorter, say folded nearly in half...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

This evening I was on my way into my local shopping centre to pay a visit to the supermarket and walking the other way was a young (I'd say early to mid 20s) couple, both of them wearing skirts. It was actually the girl wo initially caught my eye as she wasn't bad looking.... She was in a dark blue ...

From myself downunder, I was recently in New Zealand to look after my 81 year old dad who has been recently diagnosed with bladder cancer, thankfully for him all tests show that it has not spread. Anyway on arrival through immigration they gave us both a number of RAT tests and told us to monitor th...

Re: Footwear News: Is It Finally Time to Stop Separating Men’s and Women’s Fashion?

I just got an email from Modcloth - a US retailer of retro-inspired fashions. Turns out they are selling Dangerfield brand (in AU sizing no less): https://modcloth.com/collections/dangerfield Look for the Dangerfield label but also Black Friday, they seem to be the two main brand labels. Had a quic...
