So I headed off to the thrift stores to see what I could find. While I was searching through the rack, a woman said, "don't you just love all these skirts!" I picked out a cute red plaid, pleated skirt. The cashier just smiled as she rang it up.
Next stop, I found two great black skirts that are just below the knees. One is cotton and the other is almost a suede material. As I was picking these out, one of the employees asked me if I needed any help. I told her I was looking for a gypsy skirt and she asked me my size. Within seconds, she came back with a cute ankle-length broomstick skirt. Not exactly what I was looking for, but it was a nice skirt. I told her it was perfect and she told me that she thought it would look good on me. As I paid for the three skirts, I told the cashier that they had wonderful skirts and she told me to check back often as there are always new arrivals.
My last stop was the best. I found an elegant Eddie Bauer skirt that I noticed was marked "tall." It is so long it almost covers my toes (I think someone needs to start looking for high heels)

Anyway, I am the proud new owner of five new skirts. Shopping for skirts is such much fun!
