Fishnet tights challenge

A few weeks ago I mentioned I bought a lovely long paisley skirt from Matalan and I have been out wearing it. However, a few days ago I tried on a pair of black fishnet tights and they look fabulous with my Paisley skirt. I started getting the urge to wear them out shopping and finally plucked the courage and thought to myself “what the hell! I’ll wear them to Tesco”. Today, I wore my Paisley skirt with my Doc Martens and black fishnet tights with my leather biker jacket and I felt great. The feeling of skirt with the fishnets on my legs is a sublime feeling and very therapeutic. While walking to Tesco nobody batted an eyelid though a couple of teenage girls walked past and I heard one of them shout “oh my god” and laugh but I don’t know if it was aimed at me or I was just paranoid. I got back home feeling ecstasy and happy with myself. Wearing fishnets is a very sexy experience and it’s like a good drug for me. I’m going to buy myself more fishnets.

I’ve never understood the appeal of fishnets.

Bumpy in feel, no smoothness, catch other clothing. I tried them once and quickly gave up on them. I also don’t find them aesthetically pleasing.

Sheer tights are way better in my view.

I’m obviously missing something!

Yeah, I agree sheer tights are much better when it comes to comfort because fishnets are a bit uncomfortable on the feet but fishnets can look just as sexy as sheer tights and fishnets are good when I cannot be bothered to shave my legs. Also, the fishnets really matched my Paisley patterned long skirt. However, a pair of black 10 denier tights is sensual wearing.

Having a Neanderthal hair penumbra on my legs which MOH won't let me shave I need to wear opaques first. These I vastly prefer to be flesh toned, over which I pulled these rather fancy fishnets on to produce this aesthetic under a teeny petti and mini.

Pic taken about a dozen years ago and they were quite a turn-on to prance about in at the time. I'll freely admit though that the bravery required to wear that sort of attire on a visit to Tescos I didn't and don't have.

I get a pair le "Flocked Leggings" they are sheer tights with a Fish Net pattern in them. At first look they look like fishnet stockings but are footless. From SheerTex I got some stockings that are Opaque with a Fishnet pattern of sheer see through nesh, Like a Negative of Fishnet Stockings.

Sorry Ray, I am with DrFishnets on this one. Right from a young age I have loved women who were in fishnets. Now I am free to wear what ever I like, I have added fishnets to my style.

Let's be honest here, fishnets are not practical and useless as tights as a covering, their only job is to look good. The easiest to wear are the small hole fishnets as here http://www.skirtcafe.org/forums/viewtop ... 49#p262349 , however the large hole fishnets are really fun if you layer them over a plain set of stockings as http://www.skirtcafe.org/forums/viewtop ... 95#p263795 .

They were from Torrid and Sheetex - Both are sold out now.
On Torrid search Flocked and you will see what Leggings, Tighes and tops they may have in stock.
On Sheetex, shows sold out on Fishnet and nothing on special holliday colors. 2023 I got xmass tights with a Red & A Green Leg.

Rant:
Clothing manufactures design something and make a production room of say 5 to 10 thousand items in 8 different sizes. The goal is to sell everything in one year and not have to make a markdown on slow moving items, cutting into profits. If they sell, good they might reorder some, maybe not. Then supplier may not be able to get ahold of more fabric to make new ones so that stops things. If I wait 6 months and they mark an item down 50% good for me but I learned that often My size sells out fast, probably not as many ordered, so If its something I really want, Buy at List Price or miss out.

In this one jacket case I wrote to them and asked will you be reordering X Jacket in 3XL?
The answer was No we still have some sizes in stock.
Year I see that 3 years latter you still have XS and S in Stock, that does Mr. 3XL no good, the 3XL sold out in weeks and never went on sale. You live and learn.

I have the same issue with Groceries, especially Frozen Foods, what ever I like does not sell well so they discontinue it.

Black fishnets are indeed classy and it’s great wearing items of clothing I find sexy on women and it is indeed great for my mental health. I’ve always found women in black fishnets sexually alluring from dancing girls to goth girls.

I also find women in black sheer tights, pantyhose and stockings sexually alluring too. I have a sexy pair of authentic 1950s seamed fully fashioned black nylons that I’m thinking of wearing and I think will also look great with my Paisley long skirt.

I think you are going to have a lot of fun, now you have some confidence. I would also preach to you, not worry about what other people around you are discussing and laughing about. Don't worry about them, as they are most likely NOT talking about you. In London you get people discussing in all manner of languages, so you have to assume they are not talking about you, otherwise you would quickly go mad.

I think you have to accept that certain outfits generate comments. I remember catching sight of a young woman standing with her friends, wearing goth make up, a short skirt, fishnets and high heels. I just turned to my partner and said "Wow" (not in a sexual way). If the comments were about you then it was the outfit itself rather than your gender that was responsible. Nothing to be concerned about really. If you saw the strikingly dressed stylist Amber Butchart you would probably comment, but in a positive way.

I don't really find fishnets on women all that attractive - it looks like they are trying too hard. Black ones over coloured sheers can look quite striking though. I think I have a pair of fishnet tights somewhere but I wouldn't wear them in public - and I can't remember when I last wore them. When I still had hairy legs I found that the best way of disguising this was with lace or other patterned tights. I also tried them with coloured (red) sheers under them. But all in all I find fishnets inelegant and uncomfortable.
