Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
T-was the week before Christmas, with bad weather reports,
and the folks of Central Texas were out wearing shorts.
Rushing to Wal-Mart for some milk and potatoes,
and maybe some candles in case of tornadoes.
While many are dreaming a Christmas of white,
I'm wondering if I'll need my A/C tonight.
Before you start thinking my cheer sounds too reckless,
I'm just saying Merry Christmas!! From Texas

A nice little poem, relevant to your latitude. Just met friends in Church this morning, fresh off the 'plane from Brisbane AUS where they have family. 36 deg C. down to just 10 at Dublin was quite a drop for them.
With the recent demise and celebrations of the life of Shane McGowan of the Pogues group, a lot of folks are singing his 'Fairy tale of New York' which has a Christmas theme.
Your Christmas seems a little similar to ours, 34°C (93°F) with thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, sticky and humid after an early afternoon thunderstorm.. Probably more like Florida though I suspect.
A belated Merry Christmas and a forewarned Happy New Year from South Carolina to one and all.
