I bruised the left side of my ribcage in an accident at work over a week ago and the muscles are now just beginning to ease up. As long as I didn't breathe, cough, move or sneeze then I was fine. I didn't take time off work, just opted for lighter work and took things slower. Naturally I emphasised the aches and pains and shamelessly overacted whenever management was about. At times I felt very geriatric but ibuprofen gel works wonders and I can move easier now.
I believe in offering every assistance short of actual help but then mainly just want to be left to be myself in all my difference and uniqueness.
My physician felt the arthritic grinding in my knee through a range of motion...and laughed, then shook her head. What can you do? If I can lose the weight I've gained lately, maybe I can get back to painless movement.
